We’re Adam and Vicky, and Fronlwyd is our home in the Cambrian Mountains. LGBTQ+ couples, friends and families are warmly welcomed here.

There is no approved way to spend a holiday here. Walk a mountain, follow the road to the coast, watch red kites from the hot tub or do very little at all. Fronlwyd gives you privacy, space and a warm welcome while you enjoy Mid Wales at your own pace.

Fronlwyd is our home as well as our business. We are nearby if you need us and happy to share the places we genuinely love.
Mountains, forests, coast, wildlife and properly dark skies are all part of the experience, whether you want adventure or complete rest.

Walk Cadair Idris, find a forest waterfall, spend a slow day in Machynlleth or follow the Dyfi estuary to the coast. Our personal local guide brings together the days out we recommend to our own guests.

The night is part of the adventure
Fronlwyd sits under a rural Bortle Class 3 sky. On a clear night, step outside for constellations, shooting stars and possible views of the Milky Way. Afterwards, sink into the hot tub and listen for the owls.
